I have come to an interesting point in
my life, which I am sure will stick with me. It has just hit me that
Christ not only raised to life and is now in Heaven, but that He will
return. He won't return passively, either – no baby, we're talking
a flaming-eyed, white horse-riding, glorious Jesus coming back to
Earth as the ultimate conqueror. I can only pray for the world when
this happens; if our bodies suffer so under the strain of supporting
our souls, what strain when this small world becomes host to the King
of the Universe?
This is what causes Christians to stand
on a street corner and yell the gospel of a brimstone revival coming.
It's tempting for us to do such things, which isn't exactly the best
PR statement. This is also, I guess, where intolerance for Christians
comes from: we are excited and called to share the message, because
this end is coming.
This
was a short post today. I’m going to read Revelation now. In future
posts, I will be going through all the inconsistencies in the Bible
and showing the truth in the perceived lies and errors.
